Opportunity to contribute to global health research projects, develop innovative research methodologies, and collaborate with a dynamic team of researchers from across Chatham House.
The Global Health Programme at Chatham House examines the global health governance architecture and considers how the withdrawal of major funding from international institutions can be managed when more and more challenges emerge in global health. It also explores how intersectoral and international cooperation can be energised to address new and persistent risks to global health, whether naturally occurring, accidentally or deliberately caused.
We have an opportunity for a Research Associate who will primarily carry out research and execute other activities related to the projects.
What you will do
Support the delivery of high-impact global health research projects.
Conduct policy-relevant research, analysis and writing.
Help organise events, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
Present findings clearly to a range of audiences.
Contribute to fundraising and the development of new project opportunities.
What you will bring
Research experience in global health policy or a related field.
Strong writing, communication and presentation skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
Excellent organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting research proposals, events or stakeholder engagement.

Salary: £38,000 per year.
Contract: Full-time, 12 months fixed-term contract.
Location: St James's Square, London. This is a hybrid role based in our London office. The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week, with flexibility around event requirements needed.
